EPMS Support Team Member

EPMS is looking to add a new team member to its internal support team in an effort to help strengthen our current support capabilities for our customers, specifically with the release of our new products and modules. This position requires someone with a strong background in computers, and preferably a good understanding of the printing industry. This team member will be responsible for many job tasks, some of which we outlined below.

  1. Support of all EPMS Products and Modules, with the Accounting Package as the secondary focus.
  2. Standard System and Custom Report Support.
  3. Assist with Project Management and System Implementation.
  4. Support related product training.

We are looking to fill this position with an individual who is self-motivated, creative, and possesses a strong belief in teamwork. He or she needs to have good communication, writing, teaching, multi tasking, and good customer relation skills. This job position requires the individual to work out of the EPMS Office, located in Middleboro, Ma, Mon - Fri 8:30 am - 5 pm.

The primary responsibility for this position is to be part of the internal product support team. On this team you will be required to support our customers, and all our products current and future. You will be required to document all activity related to our customers and their support incidents in our CRM support program. These responsibilities will also include participation in product related projects, such as report writing, and product enhancement specification.

This position may also include secondary job responsibilities such as Project Management and System Implementation Assistance, and Product Training.

As part of the Project Management / System Implementation Assistance Team, you may be involved in the implementation process for new and old customers. This individual would be asked to perform customer/product implementation support, which includes the responsibility of project managing all aspects of the installation process starting from the sales hand off, to the support hand off. As part of implementation responsibility, he or she may be required to travel to a customer’s site, to implement a system.

As part of our Product Training team, you will be responsible for conducting product training in our In House training lab, however on rare occasions you may be asked to conduct training at a customer site.

Additionally you may be asked to assist us with the writing documentation for any of our products.

 

EPMS Special Projects Development Team Member

Basic Job Description

EPMS is looking to add a new developer to its staff. This developer would be in a newly created position, that would work closely with our existing development and support team. They would also interact directly with customers regarding their customer project request.

We are looking to fill this position with an individual who is self-motivated, creative, and possesses a strong belief in teamwork. He or she needs to have good communication, writing, be able to multi task, good customer relation skills, as well as the development skill set required to work on our products. This job position requires the individual to work out of our EPMS office, located in Middleboro, MA, Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am—5:00 pm.

Primary Job Responsibilities

The primary responsibility for this position will be to work on custom projects requested by EPMS customers, and to work on internal development project assigned. This position will require the individual to work closely with our support team members and the customer to spec each project requested. Once spec'd, this individual will be required to provide the customer with a formal quote for the project based on the specification in hand. Once EPMS receives the signed quote back from the customer, authorizing the project to go forward, this individual will schedule the project and will be expected to develop the project per spec, and to deliver the project within the time frame given. This individual will be expected to balance the delivery of customer requested projects and internally assigned projects.

  1. Visual Studio 2010 (Visual Basic and ASP).
  2. Web Service Development (using Visual Studio 2010).
  3. Windows Service Development (using Visual Studio 2010).
  4. SQL Server Database (Queries, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions etc).
  5. XML.
  6. Crystal Reports (Optional Requirement).
  7. VB6 (VB6 the low priority).

As part of the product development team, responsibilities will include:

  1. Working within a team environment on development initiatives.
  2. Participating in strategic planning for product development.
  3. Ability to take project initiative.
