EPMS Company News
New Customers:
EPMS continues to replace the legacy MIS solutions that are no longer enhanced or supported . Over the past couple of months, we have added several new companies to our user community, with the majority of them coming off those old systems. We are pleased to welcome the following new clients:
- Zuza Marketing and Asset Management - Carlsbad CA
- Mainline Printing - Topeka, KS
- Grafika - Sinking Springs, PA
- Brown Printing - Portland, OR
- Reed Printing - Ontario, CA
- Formcor - Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
- Advocate Printing - Pictou, Nova Scotia, Canada
- Pacific Press - Nampa, Id
These new companies are quite a diverse group, both in size and capabilities. While almost all of them do high quality sheetfed and digital printing, a few are highly specialized. Mainline's primary business is the production of holographic printing on displays, cards, labels, packaging and security items. Grafika specializes in rub-on and wet release transfers, wall decals, labels, hand tags and packaging. Pacific Press is a large church-owned in-plant that produces publications and other collateral materials for the Church of the Seventh Day Adventists.
Partnerships - Survey Advantage:
EPMS has completed an integration with Survey Advantage, providing a link between the Enterprise database and Survey Advantage’s ASP site. The link offers a method of polling printing company clients about their levels of satisfaction with jobs, services and staff. Feedback pinpoints areas that need improvement, employee performance and a host of other user definable areas that help keep printing companies closer to their clients. It is an excellent tool to help with client retention, and very, very affordable. Check the link on our website for further information. EPMS is working on some other major integrations and will announce them as they become available.

EPMS AND PageDNA INTEGRATION EASES WORKLOAD AT SOS PRINTING
Enterprise Print Management Solutions (EPMS) a leading developer of print MIS, and PageDNA a market leading provider of hosted storefront e-commerce applications report success automating workflow and reducing workload at client sites that are using the integrated products from both companies.
SOS Printing, San Diego, CA reports some real benefits resulting from the integration.
"SOS has integrated its PageDNA site with EPMS' Enterprise MIS to better facilitate the entire on-line ordering process for our clients. When our client logs on, they see their branded web page where they can order both static pieces and variable data stationery. They build the order, submit it, and get a confirming e-mail. That order drops into Enterprise, and we get an e-mail alerting us that a new job is in WIP. The job is reviewed, scheduled and produced with no further administrative touches, reducing our workload and job handling time substantially," said Ron Johnson, Financial Manager at SOS.
Craig Andersen, Executive VP at Enterprise concurs. "Both our current clients and prospective clients need help in automating their businesses with fully integrated e-commerce and MIS solutions. Our collaboration with PageDNA to create a seamless integration is paying off for all of our mutual clients. The objective in any of these integrations is to reduce the amount of human intervention in processing repetitive, simple work," he said.
Doug Ballinger, CEO at PageDNA is in agreement that the entire lifecycle of printed products needs to be automated. "Brad Reimers, President of SOS Printing came to us a few years ago and asked if we would integrate our storefront with his Enterprise MIS. We were excited at the opportunity to create this seamless system, combining the PageDNA web-to-print storefront with the EPMS Enterprise system. We had heard good things about EPMS and when we had the opportunity to work with them it was obvious from the very beginning that we would create a great integration that we could successfully replicate in the marketplace. SOS put their trust in us to make the integration work. Now we are working with EPMS to market our integration to both our companies' entire account base," he said.

An important outcome of the user conference was the formation of a committee of EPMS clients who are active print/mail/fulfillment companies. "The purpose of this committee is to work with our users to determine what enhancements should be done in Enterprise that are specific to print/mail/fulfillment functionality", said Craig Andersen. "Enterprise handles print/mail/fulfillment extremely well, but we want to make it better and more powerful for our users."
