The user will use the "Maintenance" menu option to define inventory User Diary Notes, Locations and any "Custom Units of Measure"
that need to be established.
Maintenance Menu
User Diary Notes may be created or viewed as described in several locations within the manual. Diary Notes may also so be listed from
Previous Estimates and Orders.
Select menu option Inventory/Maintenance/User Diary Notes and the system will display the "Diary Notes" screen.
Throughout the system, inventory items may be stored and tracked by location and by plant (in a multi-plant environment).
To define Inventory locations, select menu option Inventory/Maintenance/Locations and the system will display
the Locations screen. Click Add and enter a Code and then Description

Custom Units of measure may be established for materials. Using the Custom Unit of Measure screen select "Add"
and establish the identity of the unit. Set up the Unit of Measure parameters using the screens provided. The system
will do the math based on the "Operator" selection as shown in the screen. The option is available for Sheets, Rolls,
and Standard Items.
