Plant Menu Option

The user may assign a "PlantID" (assuming a multi-plant environment) to materials and material categories. Using this feature, the user will be able to restrict raw inventory items to specific plants.  Users will not be able to view other plant inventories unless they have permission to view all plants. The option “Allow for Multiple Plants in one database” is set in File Maintenance, select the "Plant" menu option and the system will display the "Select Plant" option.

Click Select Plant and the system will display the "Select Plant ID" screen.

Select a Plant ID from the drop-down. If the Plant ID field is left blank, the system will assume that the data is applicable to all plants.
