Diary Notes System

Eclipse includes a unique system that allows for added advanced notes to various types of records throughout the system.  These Diary Notes can be used to flag information, send information to other users and departments and provide a way to keep track of acknowledgements maybe by contacted people. Dairy Notes can also be kept and copied forward from previous jobs.

The system can be accessed through the following modules;

• Estimating/Order Entry Main Grid
• Change Orders
• Shipping
• Job Costing
• Inventory
• Finished Goods Inventory
• Purchasing
• Customers
• CRM

The User can access all of their Dairy Notes (based on login credentials) from;

Estimate/OE main grid

Job Costing

 

There are 4 main functions of the Dairy Note system;

Create

Send

Acknowledge

Print

Diary Notes Screen

 

Functions on this screen:

 

• View

• Add/Edit

• Delete

• Acknowledge

 

If a diary note is available, the user will note that the  button on the Estimating/Order Entry screen will display in "blue" when the Estimate/Order is highlighted.

Diary Notes may be copied to an estimate or order when an existing estimate or order is copied or the estimate is converted to job by selecting the appropriate buttons as shown in the following screen.
