Multiply by # of Parts

This option allows the user to calculate the printing of many parts with 1 set of plates. Typically this option is used as one of the methods of printing pads or carbonless sets where the same image is repeated and all parts.

When using this calculation option for carbonless sets it can be used in conjunction additionally with the Precollated setting and the system setting Calculate Precollated As Sets Not Sheets.

For Example; 100 pads of 50

Step 1: Enter in the amount of pads (100) in the Component Header Screen.

Step 2 : Enter in Size and Ink information. Enter Parts to Print as 50.

Step 3: Enter in Paper and Select Multiply by # of Parts

This will cause the following calculations;

Plates & Makeready: 1 set based on # of colors

Paper: Quantity * Number of Parts to Print

Press Run : Quantity * Number of Parts to Print
