The Price Increase function will allow the user to conveniently update material pricing.
The user may choose to increase one specific inventory item, multiple items or the entire category. To select multiple items use the ctrl-left click or shift click method.
Once selected the Increase button offers many choices on how the user wishes to increase the cost.
The user may select to increase pricing for either the Entire Category or the Selected Items only using the drop down.
The user may select to increase pricing by a Percentage amount or by a specific Increase Amount using the drop down and then entering either a percentage or a fixed number.
From the Unit Cost to Increase drop down the user can select 1 of 4 options.
Unit Cost : The value that is used to increase the cost when calculate prices for Estimates and Orders.
Contract Unit Cost :
PO Unit Cost : The value that is used to increase costs associated with Purchase Orders.
All Unit Cost : Changes all costs (Unit, Contract, PO) by the same amount.
