Prepress/Postpress Material

The system includes the flexibility to allocate materials to a Prepress or a Postpress process. By default, any materials that have been attached to the process (in Standards) will be displayed, initially, in the Materials window (Process screen).
Click Add or Edit and the system will display the "Process Material" screen .

Click the down-arrow next to "Material Code" field and select a category and a material item from the lists that will be displayed. Enter/edit data for the estimate as appropriate.
The user will be able to override the Cost Grid and Costing Method, as defined in Standards, on the fly. To do this, enter data in fields included in the "Unit Cost Override" data entry frame. If the "Unit Cost Grid" field is left empty and the Single Unit Cost field is left at “0.00”, the system will simply use what has been setup in standards for the material. The Cost Grid and the Single Unit Cost fields will default to empty.
