Postpress processes have the option to be divided into 2 types; regular Postpress or Bindery Cost Centers. This is purely visual to allow the user to easily distinguish between processes that can be considered regular processes such as folding and other processes, such as saddle stitching, that can be considered Bind All processes.
It is important to note that these considerations are discretionary and could be used for any number of reasons. Another example may be to filter Cost Centers into Postpress and mail operations.
In order to filter the Cost Centers, the user simply checks the checkbox option labeled Bindery Cost Center in the appropriate Cost Center. If this option is selected, the cost center and associated processes will be identified and show up in the Cost Centers and processes in Estimating/Order Entry.
In Estimating/Order Entry, the user may select Bindery as a cost center type to view and select these processes. If the Bindery Cost Center option is not selected, the cost center will be identified as a Postpress cost center. In this case, the user would select Postpress in the Estimating/Order Entry Module as a Cost Center Type.
