Enter a Linear Gap for processes that use a linear calculation Costing Method and require additional space between production pieces.
For Example;
A folder that has a Costing Method of Liner Inches based on the Finished Sheet would use the Length of the sheet times the Input Quantity to determine the total number of inches to fold.
However, a folding machine cannot fold one sheet immediately after the other. There needs to be a gap between production sheets in order for the machine to perform correctly.
When a user enters a linear inch gap on a process the system will increase the linear amount in the Input Quantity and on any material attached to the process by the gap size.
