For scheduling purposes, the user may want to combine operations from several Cost Centers into a common Cost Center.
Several Postpress operations may be defined across several different Cost Centers. For Scheduling purposes, the user has the option to Map several Cost Centers to a common one in order that they may be scheduled as one with the associated time constraints for the common Cost Center.
For example;
Common Postpress Cost Center : Hand Work - Cost Center 5001
Folding Cost Center 5100 but is Mapped To 5001
Collating Cost Center 5500 but is Mapped To 5001
Stitching Cost Center 5300 but is Mapped To 5001
Drilling Cost Center 5600 but is Mapped To 5001
In this scenario the Estimate/Order would be created normally choosing each Process within its respective Cost Center. However, when scheduling, the 4 Processes would be combined and scheduled as Hand Work with the total of their combined Estimated Time.
The user also has the option to map each Cost Center to itself. In that case each Cost Center would be scheduled separately.
