Sales Representatives

Sales representatives may be assigned to a customer and/or subsequently associated with an estimate or order. To define a Sales Rep, select FileMaint./Employees/Sales Reps and the system will display a list of Sales Reps.

 

 

Click Add or Edit  to create or modify a Sales Rep.

 

 

 

Code : 5-character, alphanumeric code that the system will use to uniquely identify the sales rep.

Name : Name of Sales Rep

Title : Optional

Address : Although the address fields are optional, the user may wish to use the data for the sales reps home information.

E-Mail : The email address will be used if the EPMS integrated CRM system is purchased.

Commission A : The Commission A default is used for calculating a cost plus commission rate on estimates and orders. For example a 10% commission on an estimate of $1,000 would yield a final price to the customer of $1,100.

Commission B : The Commission B default is used for reporting only. It calculates the commission rate based on the final price of the estimate and/or order. For example a 10% commission on an estimate of $1,000 would yield a final price to the customer of $1,000 and an internal commission of $100.

Comm. Table : If a Commission Table is chosen then it will supersede the values entered into either Commission A or B.

Customer Communion will override Sales Rep Commission on Orders : A Commission rate may be assigned to a customer. With this option the commission rate assigned to the customer will over rule the Sales Rep's rate.
