The system includes a Quick Schedule feature that will conveniently load jobs quickly into the loading schedule. This feature will be similar, with minor differences, to the "Auto Schedule" procedure.
From the "Main Schedule" screen, select Action/Quick Schedule (with a job highlighted). The system will display the "Load Job" dialog screen and will then display the "Quick Schedule" screen listing processes for the job (combined or not combined as applicable).
Quick Schedule Screen
In addition to the functionality provided by the buttons at the bottom of the screen, the user may click in data columns "Start Date", "Dependent", and "Days" and enter data directly.
Batch Load
The system will allow the user to conveniently batch load several jobs into the schedule. Click Batch Load and the system will display the "Job List" screen
Selectively highlight jobs to be scheduled (i.e. depress and hold Ctrl key). Click Select and the jobs will be loaded (after user clicks the Accept button on subsequent screen). Note that a Search capability is available to locate jobs.
Production
The user may view production transactions that have been entered for a job by clicking the Production button. The system will display the "Production Entries for Job" screen.
Select "All Components" or a specific component, as applicable.
Delete Process
On occasion, the user may want to remove processes from scheduling. To delete a process in the list, highlight the process and click the Delete Process button. The system will delete the process (without a confirming message) from the loading schedule (processes for the job will not be affected), and the user will be returned to the "Quick Schedule" screen.
From Start
Click the From Start button and the system will load the job Start Date for all processes.
Optionally, the user may click in the "Start Date" field and enter a date manually.
Accept
Click the Accept button and the system will load the schedule and return the user to the "Main Schedule" screen.
Cancel
Click the Cancel button and the user will be returned to the "Main Schedule" screen and the proposed schedule will not be loaded.
Important Note:
Using the "Quick Schedule" utility, the system will automatically "Overload" a cost center whereas "Auto Schedule" will not.

Suppose that a cost center has a capacity of 8 hrs. and the user is attempting to load a job that will require 12 hrs.
Using Quick Schedule, the system will load the entire 12 hrs. without regard to the capacity. Contrasting this, Auto Schedule will distribute the hours into separate days so as to not exceed the capacity.
