Here is an example of a Template Code Syntax that allows operators and users to quickly scan and search the codes.
Any code system will work for category definition. In this example categories codes are broken into 4 sections;
Template Categories
001-099 – Product specific (low hanging fruit)
These Categories represent the most common products that a company will run. Generally these are also single component wizards.

Once the category codes are established the user can then create the rest of the syntax sequence but ultimately the resulting templates should be able to be sort into easily retrievable sections that are logically arranged.
