Minutes/Roll Change

This field is typically used in Web, Business Forms, Flexo and Wide Format presses. It allows the user to add time to the Press Run Process when the material (roll) needs to be changed during the production run. 

 

NOTE The value defined in the Press Process is a default for any Roll Material that does not have a specific Minutes/ Roll Change defined. The Roll Material value will supersede the press default.

 

 

The system determines if there is a roll change required by the comparing of the material required for the run and dividing it by the Avg Feet/Roll in the Material of the component. The Avg Feet/Roll value is defaulted from the Roll Material Item and can be changed within the Estimate or Order components material.

Wide Format Component

Wide Format presses can either be flat bed or roll fed. The Avg Feet/Roll is not available to change within a Wide Format component. The system uses the default Average Feet Per Roll defined on the Roll Material Item.
