Component Markups & Markup Tables

The user will most likely want to mark-up production and material costs when calculating a sell price. In Enterprise 32, markups will be assigned at the component level.

Markups Button

Click the Markups button to view/edit specific markup percentages for Production, Materials, and Stock.

The initial values that will be displayed have been entered for the component Default Template. Markup values will be defined on a component level and may be different for each quantity.  Enter a value for "Quantity 1" and click Same to copy that value to all quantities.

If a Quantity Table has been selected for the component, the system will display an error dialog message indicating that specific markup values may not be entered.

The displays for Production, Material and Stock markups will show markups to four decimal places. This will allow the user to conveniently view when a markup value has been intentionally set close to “0” (the system will not recognize a “0” and will use the default markup if the field is exactly “0”).

Markup Table

Click the drop-down arrow to view and select a predefined Markup Table. If a markup table has been associated with an account, then that table will be entered as a default.
