Pockets per Helper

This field applies to a collating process. Enter Pockets Per Helper and the system will calculate the number of Helpers required by dividing the total number of pockets in the Component(s) or Group by this value. The system will always calculate at least 1 helper for the process.

Note that the Production Time, as viewed in an Estimate Analysis Report, will not change, but the Production Cost will include the cost of the helpers based on the Hourly Rate assigned to the Helper Code.   

 

If the Pockets per Helper value is greater than 0 then the Default Helpers value will not be used in the calculation. The field in the Estimate or Order will NOT appear in the process.

The total number of Lots/Signatures will depend on whether the process has Bind All Components checked. If it does then the system will sum all the Lots/Signatures from all the Components. If the Components are Linked/Grouped then the system will sum all the Lots/Signatures from within the Linked/Grouped Components.
