Component Template Entry Screen

When the Template button is clicked at the bottom of the "Component Information" screen, the system will display the "Component Template Entry" Screen.

Header Fields & Functions:

Template ID : A unique alphanumeric code to define the template. Click here for Template Code Recommendations.

Category Code : Define a Template Category where the Template can be located.

Template ID & Description : Enter up to 250 characters to describe the template.

RFQ Description :  This field applies to the Enterprise .Net online web modules.  Enter a description if the user would like this process to be accessible in the web modules.

External Template ID (JDF) : This is relative only to those users with JDFConnect installed and working on the system.

External File : This is relative only to those users with JDFConnect installed and working on the system.

UserDefinedLabel1 & 2 : Userdefined fields.

Create FGood Component (from online Orders) : This option will only apply to the .Net RFQ Module.

Gang Run Template : Gang Runs will automatically generate production gang runs using Templates setup by the users.

Multi-Plant Template : Using this option, the user will be able to create a Template that uses processes from multiple plants.

Template Type : There are 7 types to choose from.

Finished Good Code : Allows a Template to by assigned to a Finished Good. This allows the system to calculate how many items of are considered Qty In Production.

Material Code :  Allows a Template to by assigned to a specific Sheet Stock Material Code, typically used for shells that will require imprinting at a later date. This allows the system to calculate how many items of are considered Qty In Production.

Customer Account : By selecting a Customer Account the Template will only be visible when the user has been chosen FIRST in an Estimate/Order on the Job Header screen.

Die Category : This field only applies to Quick Order Entry templates and cause the user to select a valid Die Number for the component from within that Die Category.

Plant ID : Allows the user to limit the Templates use to a single Plant in a Multi Plant environment.
